# Azure SAS Auth Modifier

**Applies to:** Lasernet Core 11

Shared Access Signatures (SAS) are the primary security mechanism for Service Bus messaging. They exchange a connection string with a token that is used in the SOAP Web Service module or the HTTP module. The Azure SAS Auth modifier enables Lasernet Core to act as client.
