# Install the Printer Service Application

**Applies to:** Lasernet Core 11

Lasernet Printer Service is a standalone application and must be installed on print servers.

Run the standalone `Lasernet Printer Service 11.msi` installer.

> A Microsoft Defender SmartScreen window might appear. The options provided vary depending on your organization’s IT policy. Click **Run anyway** if that option is available to you.

Follow the on-screen steps to install. We recommend using the default settings.
