# Lasernet Base Server Package (Including XML In and Out)

This is the main package to run Lasernet Server in a development, preproduction, or production environment. All other listed packages, modules and supported input file formats and output file formats have dependencies to this package.

## Modules

| Engine | Binary Merger | Combines multiple binary files into a single file. |
| Engine | Binary Splitter | Splits a single binary file into multiple files. |
| Engine | Compression | Decompressing and compressing of ZIP archives. |
| Engine | EMF to RAW | Converting Lasernet or Windows EMF format, via Windows printer driver, into specific printer output format. |
| Engine | Form | Form Engine has by default a license for Text as input format and EMF as output format. Other input and output formats require additional licenses. Supports Text, XML, CSV, JSON, and XLSX as input formats. |
| Engine | Overlay | Manage overlay forms and adds overlay(s) to a file printed in the Lasernet EMF format. |
| Engine | Pass-Through | Does not directly affect the job, but can be used for grouping a set of modifiers, database/SharePoint commands and scripts in a workflow. |
| Engine | Process | Used for running external processes, like 3rd party executables. Also exists as a modifier. |
| Engine | Text Filter | Used to search and replace text data via a text string or a regular expression, and used to convert character sets from code page to another. Also exists as a modifier. |

| Input | Exchange | Retrieves emails from a Microsoft Exchange Server running on-premises via an Exchange Web Service (EWS). EWS is deprecated by Microsoft for Office 365. Not available from Lasernet 11. |
| Input | File | Retrieves files from a local or shared file folder. |
| Input | Mail | Retrieves emails from a mail server via POP3 or IMAP. |
| Input | OneDrive | Retrieves files from OneDrive file folder. |
| Input | Outlook Mail | Retrieves emails from Office 365 via Microsoft Graph. |
| Input | Printer Input | Retrieves print jobs from the Windows Spooler system. |
| Input | Scheduler | Starts a process at a scheduled time and runs a modifier, database/SharePoint command or script to fetch data. |
