Bug Fixes and Enhancements – Lasernet BC Connector 4.4.0.1

Lasernet BC Connector 4.4.0.1 is a patch release provided through the following bug fixes and enhancements.

#488616 – Incorrect attachments are included when sending reports as email attachments

In previous versions, additional attachments were not always included when emailing certain documents automatically through Report Selection.

With this update, all configured attachments, including Lasernet attachments and Business Central document attachments, are now reliably added to outgoing emails for all supported document types.

Customers can now expect consistent attachment behavior across all email-sending scenarios.

#489880 – The correct Document Layout Version is now selected automatically

In previous versions, Document Layout V1 was not automatically selected when V1 was set as the default in Lasernet Setup, but no version was defined in Lasernet Report Setup.

In that case, the system did not pick up any layout at all.

With this update, the connector correctly falls back to the default layout version from Lasernet Setup whenever the report-specific version is not defined.

Document Layout Version selection is now reliable and consistent, and customers no longer need to manually set V1 for every Report Setup line.

#490109 – Upgrading from Lasernet BC Connector 4.3.4.1 to 4.4.0.1 is now faster and more reliable

The upgrade process has been optimized to avoid long processing times caused by large Archive tables in certain environments.

Previously, upgrading from 4.3.4.1 to 4.4.0.0 could take significantly longer due to Archive conversion steps.

With this update, the heavy archive conversion is skipped during the upgrade to 4.4.0.1, ensuring a fast and reliable installation.

The remaining Archive conversion is handled later without impacting the upgrade experience.

Upgrading to 4.4.0.1 is now a quicker, smoother, and more stable experience, especially for systems with large Print Archive datasets.
