# Lasernet FO Connector 7.0 Release Notes

## Lasernet for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

### Maintenance Report

This section briefly describes the fixes and enhancements in Lasernet FO Connector 7.0.

Lasernet FO Connector 7.0 comes pre-packaged with [Lasernet Essentials](/v1/docs/user-guide-lasernet-essentials), a new Lasernet product, which is automatically activated if no license code or key is provided.

Lasernet Essentials integrates the Lasernet runtime engine (Embedded) and the Lasernet Form Editor within Lasernet FO Connector.

It can be utilized immediately, and all features can be accessed either within the workspace or when previewing a document through Lasernet.

> If errors related to **LACSrsPrintDestinationSettings_Extension** occur, some objects or models may not be checked in. Another possible problem is that not all models have been built.

Ensure the following new objects/dll files are added to TFS in case you are not just installing/deploying the AOT package:

- LACSupport.dll.config
- XmlDiffPatch.dll
- XmlDiffPatch.View.dll

The version number should contain the version number 7.0 after either installing or deploying the AOT-package.

### Prerequisite/Technical

Ensure the Lasernet FO Connector configuration (including all reports) is exported in case a restore of the data is needed.

It is possible to perform an in-place upgrade from a previous version as long as the previous version is relatively recent, such as Lasernet FO Connector 6.18.x.
