# SAP SmartXSF Modifier

## Settings

| **Number Prefix Character** | If the SAP SmartSXF tag begins with digits, the modifier replaces it with this character because XML tags cannot begin with digits. |
| --- | --- |
| **Default Character** | If the SAP SmartXSF tag contains characters that are not valid in an XML tag, these characters are replaced with this default character*.* |
