# Validation of XPath

Another useful feature in the Test and Performance Suite is the option to validate a specific value within an XPath on the XML file. This can be done when making a recording and right-clicking the required XPath within the XML file.

In this example, we have right-clicked **FIELD_BankAccountTable_AccountNum** > **Task recorder** > **Add info step**.

The following **Text** has been added for this **Task recorder** info step:
