# Azure SAS Auth Modifier

**Applies to:** Lasernet Core 10

Shared Access Signatures (SAS) are the primary security mechanism for Service Bus messaging. They exchange a connection string with a token that is used in the SOAP Web Service module or the HTTP module. With the Azure SAS Auth modifier, Lasernet Core can both act as client (Azure SAS Auth) and server (Azure Hybrid).
