New Features, Fixes, and Enhancements – Lasernet BC Connector 4.1.1.0

Lasernet BC Connector version 4.1.1.0 is aimed to be a quality update, provided through the following new features, fixes, and enhancements.

#211735 – Resend from Archive

Starting from Business Central 2.0.1, users have the option to resend the exact PDF version that was originally produced, no matter if it was printed, emailed, etc.

Within Lasernet Archive, choose the Resend PDF button from the top menu and the email dialog will appear:

After resending, Lasernet will create a new record in the archive and mark it as Resend.

#304459 – Document Layout Filter improvement

With Placeholders, we introduced a light version of filtering on the data that we want to retrieve from BC. Therefore, we have implemented the same functionality on Document Layout. Document Layouts are now similar to Placeholders, which are used for Email Templates.

It is now possible to achieve three types of filtering:

This is an extremely useful feature if users wish to add only one type of item attribute or bank accounts that are not blocked or are filtered by CurrencyCode.

For developers: you can now control if No. of Printed should increase or not from code.

#294065 – All document related to Sales Order are added to the Lasernet Archive

It is now possible to Pick Instruction, Pro Forma Invoice, Work Order, and Sales Order directly from the Sales Order archive.

#329797 – Added more filters to the Lasernet Sales Invoice Request page

We have added four more filters to the Request page:

• Posting Date

• Customer Posting Group

• Amount

• Bill-to Customer No.

#334655 – Refresh Placeholders and Templates without deletion

We have added a new menu to Placeholders and Email Template. Refresh will silently recheck if some default placeholders are missing (not placeholder entries, but the whole set) and create them.

The Suggest menu is pushed to the back, as it removes all existing records and creates them from scratch.
