Overview
The Test and Performance Suite enables users to test Lasernet reports. The main purpose of the testing functionality is to validate Lasernet reports after application updates, which could be Lasernet, Custom, or Application suite module updates, to identify any changes to the report’s XML or PDF files.
Testing scenarios can be run manually, in the background, or as automated tests (using the Regression Suite Automation Tool). The testing of a report is compared with a generated report (Result) and with a stored expected report (Test checkpoint) to identify any differences with the report after an upgrade. If there are differences, these can be investigated further and resolved accordingly.
Note
This does not replace Unit testing.
