When you sign in to Lasernet, the Sign In window can show a Saved info list of usernames that you (or anyone else who uses your Windows account) entered before. This article explains how to remove usernames from that list.
Choose a Method
The Sign In window saves the usernames that you enter in a file called Web Data in your Windows user profile. Lasernet does not provide an option to clear the list. To clear it, use one of the following methods:
To clear the whole list, delete the
Web Datafile. This is the quickest method, but it also removes any other information that Lasernet has saved in this file. See Method 1: Delete the Web Data File.To remove only some usernames, edit the
Web Datafile with a SQLite editor. See Method 2: Remove Individual Usernames.
Both methods affect only your own Windows user account on this computer.
Find the Web Data File
The Web Data file is in one of the following folders, depending on your version of Lasernet. Replace <your user> with your Windows username. In the first row, replace <version> with 10 or 11.
Version | Folder |
|---|---|
Lasernet Core 10 and Lasernet Core 11.0 |
|
Lasernet Core 11.1 and later |
|
Tip
To navigate directly to the
AppData\Localfolder, enter%LOCALAPPDATA%in the File Explorer address bar.
Method 1: Delete the Web Data File
To clear the whole list, follow these steps:
Close all Lasernet applications, including Lasernet Developer.
In File Explorer, navigate to the folder that contains the
Web Datafile (see Find the Web Data File).Delete the
Web Datafile.
Lasernet creates a new, empty Web Data file the next time you sign in.
Method 2: Remove Individual Usernames
To remove only some usernames, edit the Web Data file with a SQLite editor. The following steps use DB Browser for SQLite, which is free to download from sqlitebrowser.org.
Note
Before you edit the file, make a copy of it. If anything goes wrong, you can replace the edited file with the copy.
Close all Lasernet applications, including Lasernet Developer.
Open DB Browser for SQLite and click Open Database.
Browse to the folder that contains the
Web Datafile (see Find the Web Data File). The file has no extension, so select All Files (*) from the file-type list to show it. Then open the file.On the Database Structure tab, right-click the
autofilltable and then click Browse Data.On the Browse Data tab, find the rows where the
namecolumn isusername. Thevaluecolumn shows the saved username. Select the rows for the usernames that you want to remove, right-click one of the selected rows, and then click Cut.Click Write Changes to save your changes to the file.
Close DB Browser for SQLite.
The next time you sign in to Lasernet, the Saved info list no longer shows the usernames that you removed.
